The Waii Sconce continues the studio's exploration of traditional Thai weaving through contemporary sculptural forms. Meticulously handwoven in natural rattan, its hourglass silhouette features a rhythmic interplay of curves and texture. When illuminated, light filters through and behind the open weave, casting intricate shadows and a warm, ambient glow. Both a functional light fixture and a sculptural wall object, the sconce celebrates the expressive
possibilities of traditional rattan craftsmanship.
